According to Fortnite leaks, a Resident Evil crossover will make its way to the game in Chapter 4 Season 2, just in time for the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Fortnite players are currently enjoying the final days of Chapter 4 Season 1 as new content gets set to make its way to the game. Chapter 4 Season 2 is expected to arrive on March 10 and bring a new Battle Pass with it.
As the start of the new season approaches, players are eager to discover what’s in store. Fortnite leakers have started to reveal the content that awaits in Chapter 4 Season 2 and it seems there will be plenty of crossovers to enjoy.
Not only could an Attack on Titan crossover bring Eren Yeager to Fortnite, but leaks also suggest that a Resident Evil collaboration could see Leon Kennedy join the battle royale.
Prominent leakers Shiina and HYPEX both revealed information that hints at the arrival of Resident Evil’s Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
Fortnite leak reveals Resident Evil crossover
A Resident Evil crossover in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 makes perfect sense as the Resident Evil 4 remake is set for a March 24 release date. The iconic Resident Evil title stars Leon Kennedy and it’s coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
Claire Redfield is best known for her role in Resident Evil 2, alongside the aforementioned Leon Kennedy, so it’s possible that the Fortnite crossover doesn’t solely focus on Resident Evil 4.
Both Leon and Claire could join Jill Valentine & Chris Redfield who previously made their way to Fortnite in Chapter 2 Season 8.
Players were pleased with the news of yet another Season 2 crossover as one noted that Epic Games are, “going all in with collabs.”
There’s no telling what content will be included in the crossover, but we’ll keep you posted with the latest news concerning the Resident Evil and Fortnite collaboration.
