Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 is in full swing, keeping players busy with a new Battle Pass to grind through, new weapons to master, and highly competitive Ranked Play mode.
However, server issues can prevent players from experiencing the new features and ranking up the best weapons. Few things are as frustrating when attempting to enjoy your favorite maps and modes.
Here’s the current server status in Modern Warfare 2, as well as how to check if the servers are down.
Are Modern Warfare 2 servers down?
While Xbox and PC Modern Warfare 2 servers are up and running, PlayStation players are unable to play after being met with the CE-11773-6 error code.
On March 3, PSN has been having issues that have stopped PlayStation users from playing multiplayer games and using the store. While fixes are being rolled out, many are still experiencing issues.
The official Activision website’s server status indicates that servers are up and running, so the issue was only to do with PSN and not Activision. Once the issue is fixed, you should be able to grind Ranked Play no matter your platform.
