Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 has been revealed, and it’s bringing the brand-new Cronen Squall Battle Rifle to unlock. Here’s everything you need to do to get your hands on the brand-new weapon.
With Season 2 about to wrap up, the devs have revealed all of the content coming throughout Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3. Fan-favorite campaign characters Alejandro and Valeria square off in the new season, and a ton of new content comes to both multiplayer and battle royale.
Alongside the classic Intervention Sniper Rifle, the new Cronen Squall Battle Rifle also makes its debut. Described as a “bullpup, semi-automatic rifle chambered in 6.8 Wrath and designed for distance shooting and exceptional damage output,” the Cronent Squall is set to be dominant on Al Mazrah.

How to unlock Cronen Squall in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2
The Cronen Squall Battle Rifle will be available for free through the Season 3 Battle Pass in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3, which goes live on April 12.
The Battle Pass Sectors it will be found in haven’t been revealed yet, but Season 2’s KV Broadside and ISO Hemlock were unlocked in B4 and B11, so we’d expect similar for the Cronen Squall and Intervention.
While you can earn sufficient Battle Pass Tokens by simply playing the game, Season 3 introduces the new BlackCell Battle Pass. Costing around $30, this replaces the Battle Pass Bundle, offering 20 Tier Skips (25 on PlayStation). So, purchasing this might be enough to get the Cronen Squall or Intervention straight away.
